About Us

Stone Golf Club is by far one of the best 9 hole golf courses in the North Midlands. As a Private Members' Club, we have hosted many prestigious golf events, including several Staffordshire County fixtures and matches. The annual Staffordshire under 18 boys match-play championship (The John Slaughter Trophy) is contested at Stone every year.

We welcome new members in all categories: Men, Ladies and Juniors aged from 6-21. Junior members upon reaching 21 can remain as Junior members until aged 25 if in full time education.

Lady members are especially welcome as they enjoy their own club facilities, competitions and priority tee times, with the opportunity to compete in mixed matches.

Golf Societies (up to 36 players) are most welcome on weekdays only. Please book in advance). We can cater for larger parties by special advance arrangement which will ensure you enjoy our full 19th hole hospitality!
